Malaika Hostel Medellin

The 24-hour front desk didn't mind my constant questions and requests. The shared kitchen was a great opportunity to witness culinary disasters. The tours they organized made me feel like an adventurous explorer.

I absolutely loved the fact that the nearest airport was conveniently far away.

I gotta say, for the price we paid, Malaika Hostel really delivered. The room was super clean and cozy, with super comfy beds and pillows, made me sleep like a baby. And the location, right in the heart of El Poblado, meant we were surrounded by all the touristy goodness and vibrant nightlife. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay more fun.

As for the breakfast, it could use a little improvement.

The noise level can be quite high, especially at night, due to the surrounding nightclubs and bars. If you're a light sleeper, it might be difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The double room at Malaika Hostel Medellin was cozy and comfortable. The shared bathroom had a great shower, and the bed linen and towels provided were clean and fresh. As a business guest, I felt relaxed and at ease in this simple yet inviting room.

Personally, I would have preferred having a private bathroom. But hey, that's just my opinion!

I stayed at Malaika Hostel for 15 days and loved everything about it. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom had a huge shower with hot water. The staff, especially Miguel and Lala, were friendly and helpful. The location in Provenza, El Poblado was excellent with coffee shops, restaurants, and bars right on the doorstep. The daily cleaning and fresh sheets/towels were a great touch. a perfect place to stay.

Nothing it was perfect.

The location is ideal, right in the heart of a lively area with easy access to bars, shops, and restaurants. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the showers were warm and refreshing. The staff, particularly Laura and Roger, were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the convenience of accepting credit cards. Despite some noise from nearby clubs, the value for money was unbeatable. I highly recommend this hostel for its great location, clean facilities, and friendly staff.

The location is amazing! Right in El Poblado you could walk anywhere. A 2 minute walk to Envy rooftop with panoramic views. A convenience store across the street. the staff was super nice especially Laura and Roger! the shower and bathroom in the private rooms are so nice and spacious. They accept credit card which was great. Nice rooftop patio, comfortable bed and an amazing location, with bars and restaurants in every direction. Also the staff were the best, incredibly welcoming and helpful. They make you feel right at home. the room was very nice, spacious and clean with a private bathroom. We had bed side tables and lamps, a table, a TV and a wardrobe. There are a lot of restaurants close by. Great location - very central in a safe touristy area. Good value for money, free coffee was great. We arrived very early and could store our luggage all day and chill on the balcony while we waited for our room.
